Use this is handy calculator for estimating the gross board footage you will need for an entire project, or just calculate the board footage of a specific size.  You can specify different types of woods, different sizes, multiple components and the final step will generate a well organized page of totals that you can print.  Since the final summary opens in a new window, you can easily make changes to your specifications if you find you made a mistake at the end.

Use only inches for dimensions. For partial inches, enter only decimals;  For instance, use 8.25 for 8-1/4.
