joined several international organizations that are active
with resource conservation and the wise use of our earth's treasures. Woodworkers Source is committed to our forests by actively participating in these and other associations that add value and conserve the rain forests of the world. Woodworkers Source has over 100 species of wood in stock. We encourage the use of lesser known species as a woodworking experience and as a
method of adding value to the rain forest. We buy our woods from reputable dealers who are themselves active with the conservation of the world's woods and we participate in certified,
sustain yield forestry projects around the world. Our current inventory includes wood from four certified forestry enterprises in Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Many fine hardwoods are available in quantities and at prices that make them practical for furnishings and many other products. Fortunately, our hardwood forests are a renewable natural resource. Through programs of good forest management and restoration, we can always have an ample supply of treasured, beautiful hardwoods. |
